Just to be clear, this is my own biased opinion on the issue.
To people that report acceptance rates in their publication list:
- Science is not a race.
- Published papers are not awards.
- Conferences are not exclusive clubs.
If you really need to boast, at least do it with more taste, please.
Acceptance rate is just awkward.
